 Building Community Through Competition There aren't many things that last months on end that bring people together quite like fantasy football can. For the last five years of my life, I've played in two different fantasy football leagues each season and every year, I remember more about the trash talk and laughs than the wins and losses. I first remember wanting to join a fantasy football league when seeing constant communication amongst my friend group about the league all season long. During football season, fantasy becomes its own language, full of friendly rivalries, inside jokes, and that heartbreak moment when you lose in the last second on Monday night.
